Immerse yourself in the world of Japanese crafts
Our cultural programme is programmed by Stichting MONO JAPAN. During the MONO JAPAN fair in 2023, there were several lectures, workshops, a film screening with a documentary of the collaboration between Dutch designers and the Japanese town of Arita, which made Japanese craftsmanship known in the Netherlands, and two demonstrations of traditional Japanese culture.
Some of the lectures were supported by the City of Amsterdam.
We are thrilled to announce that the MONO JAPAN Fair will take place in Rotterdam in 2024, and Nieuwe Instituut as our partner for creating together the cultural programme of MONO JAPAN 2024.
